Beach

The first weekend of June we headed to the Northern Oregon Coast and played at South Jetty Beach. The sun was out and we were prepared. Our time started with a picnic lunch on the beach. Then we headed out into the water. Leah and Eden loved playing in the water, either sitting in it and splashing or jumping the waves. Leah went out with me up to her belly and Eden went as far as her upper thighs. Paige also loved the water and went out as far as her knees. Paige was a bit tired so she layed down in the sun for a brief nap, I slathered her in sunscreen as I did not want her to get burnt during her nap.

Leah and Eden built a miniature sand castle which the waves wiped out within 20 minutes. Leah thought it was hilarious watching the water wash away her castle. After about 10 waves she could not even tell where the castle had been.

Going for the wind blown look. Without that wind it would have been too hot at the beach. As it was the sand felt like it was burning our feet. A fantastic time was had by all and we finished our trip off with a stop at Dairy Queen. Leah kept saying we were camping without the sleeping part. She is ready for summer and the required camping trips. Good thing Momma has two planned and is going to try to get out on even more.
