Buddy Walk 2009

Here are four of our team members. The green shirts were a hit, and amongst the black Buddy Walk shirts our team members were easy to find. The other plus is that Leah had a balloon tied on her wrist so we were able to keep track of her quite easily. It was a great day weather wise, so much so that the fountain in the square came on and great fun was had by everyone. There's Grandpa sporting his Eden's Encouragers shirt.
Here is Grandma doing the pushing duty for the first part of the walk. We are all praying that by next year Eden will actually be walking at the Buddy Walk. Grandma has a tribute to Uncle Donnie on her back. Many people read and were moved by her tribute.
Leah did a great job walking the whole way, it was great not having to push a double stroller this year. She particularly enjoyed getting to see and get on the Portland Fire Bureau's fire truck (the one with the long ladder).
I could not resist this picture. Grandma with a mouth full of cotton candy, and she didn't even share with her grandchildren. Thanks for coming and supporting Eden!
I couldn't resist. Grandma with a mouthful of cotton candy, what fun. Thank you for coming out to support Eden. Paige was on her best behavior, it was awesome. She did the whole walk, listened to the band, and smiled tons. She did not like her hotdog however and chose two ice cream bars instead.

What a wonderful day! Hopefully one day you can have 4 more team members from Oklahoma join you. That would be really special for us!
I love the green tees too!
