There was left over snow on these however I asked Paige to take out the trash and in order to open the lids she had to sweep off all the snow (autistic thing). However it shows how much we got just in the last 24 hours.
This is the back yard. Notice at first you can see the blocks on the front of the raised bed. By this morning they are gone. If I had a picture over by my raised vegetable garden you would see that you can not even tell it is there. We have at least 12 inches on the ground now, not including what melted earlier in the week. What fun.

We have had fun in the snow. Leah went out twice yesterday all bundled up but would not allow pictures to be taken of her in such attire. Paige went out once. We live a few blocks from one of the better sledding hills in town, the city closes the street off just for sledding. So we have been heading over there to watch all the fun. Leah wants to sled but Mommy does not have a sled and did not know anyone at the hill so she will have to wait until next time.We have had a fire every night but are not happy with the way the fireplace works. It is hard to keep a fire going unless it is roaring and whenever you open the doors to add more wood smoke billows out. Yes the flue is open and has been checked by two males since the snow started. Also I had it inspected and cleaned this October per foster care regulations. We are thinking that it is not drafting properly possibly due to how they closed off the oil heater last year. The oil furnace vented through the chimney and we are wondering if when they closed off the furnace vent they inadvertently did something to the fire vents too. I will call the fireplace people next week to see.
